ŠTRKOVA BAKERY

Homemade bread, made with love, has reigned supreme at Štrkova bakery for several generations. The recipe, which is more than 50 years old, was handed down from our grandmothers and great-grandmothers, mostly from grandmother Lidia. The bread is baked in a wood-fired bread oven (in a bull), and the dough rises with the leaven, which is saved after each baking for the next one. 25 years ago, her son-in-law Milan started helping grandmother Lidia bake bread, who now continues the tradition and carefully preserves the special recipe and delights those who love it with bread. Grandma Lidija still watches the baking of her son-in-law Milan with her watchful eye, who is helped by her daughter Tjaša.

In our space, bread represents a special value, because when we think of it, we often think of beautiful things - homeliness, family, warmth and security. Bread baking belongs to a special tradition, especially baking in a bread oven or, as we call it, "in a bull". We devote ourselves to baking with love and devotion, which is why we decided to offer bread on the market or to your homes.

You can order from us: large rye cake (2 kg), small rye loaf (1 kg), white loaf (1 kg), buns, sesame balls/baguettes.
